Mark Chadwick wins the 2005 Taurus Award for best fire burn.

Paramount Studios was the setting for the 2005 Taurus World Stunt awards. First time nominee Mark Chadwick won top honors for "Best work with Fire" for his work on The Punisher. No stranger to fire burns Mark has set up 8 nominations in this category for other stuntmen in the past. "It's nice to finally win one for myself". A double nominee this year Mark was also nominated for best overall stunt by a stuntman for his work on Torque.


One of the leaders in fire burn safety and technology, Mark Chadwick has set up some of the biggest most complex burn sequences seen in films today. A veteran stuntman of 16 years, Mark has set up over 150 burns for features and television. His style and cutting edge technology have made him one of the most sought after fire burn specialists in Hollywood. A 2005 Taurus Award winner himself for best fire burn on The Punisher, and the 2000 winner of the prestegious Mactab award for best fire burn at the world stunt competition in Moscow, Mark has always strived to create the most visually effective fireburns seen today.

Some of his credits include We Were Soldiers, Wind Talkers, Hostage, and The Aviator as well as his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, the TV series.
